Marc Wisecarver Sentencing

Marc was sentenced to 3 years in prison, 3 years probation, and $3,000 plus restitution. According to the law, the time he has served will be used as part of the 3 years. He has been in almost 19 months. His Public Defender will be appealling the decision and must do so within 14 days.

The Bureau of Prisons will decide where Marc will be sent. Right now he is still at the Pennington County Jail but could be moved at any time. Then it may be up to 10 weeks before we know where he is at.

Marc is doing as well as can be expected. He still has his sense of humor, and also says prison is a good place to pray.
