| janet glaspole | United Kingdom | I AM APPALED IN THIS DAY AND AGE THESE ATTROCITIES R STILL GOING ON DONT LOOSE HOPE YOU HAVE OUR FULL SUPPORT |
| Matt king | United Kingdom | I heard about Marc's plight a while back, and being a member of a couple of campaign groups here in the UK, am fully behind this petition, all he was doing was defending his home, property, and life, as it is an inalienable right in your country to do so, but as we all know, this does not apply to Native Americans. so much for democracy heh !, he is in my thoughts and prayers, so is his family in this matter, may great spirit willing, he'll be free, and not become another Peltier, there are too many of our brothers and sisters in similar plight just for wanting to be true free human beings. |
| Marc Wisecarver | United States | |
| G. Brakkee | Netherlands | This is a blatant miscarriage of justice! America is supposedly the land of the free - free?? Free to discriminate and incarcerate a Native American for defending himself? I am certain that if he had been a white rancher and a Native American had done this he would have walked away scot free with no charges filed against him. |

| petra goetze | Germany | ich wünsche marc alles gute, Ich bin entsetzt das soetwas noch möglich ist. |
| Daniel Staite | United States | We all have the right to be at peace at home. The federal government have no rights on Indian territorys |
| Sieglinde Nemetz | Austria | Justice for all Native American People !! Best wishes to Marc !! |
| Diana Davies | United Kingdom | I have read many accounts of this case, and find it appaling that Mr Wisecarver has been incarcerated when the case is so clear that he acted , justifyably , in self defense. I believe that the wrong man is in prison. Why are not the man who drove the pickup, and the man who hired him to do so in prison? Also, How is it that the judge can tell the jury what to decide, and threaten to hold them in contempt if they don't? Is not the point of a jury o decide the case in an unbiased manner? I am a citizen of the USA, but at this moment, I am not proud. |
| Anja Nitsche | Germany | What an unbelievable injustice!!! What a fine "land of the free"... Marc, you´re in my thoughts all the time, and I hope that this petition will make a difference!!! |
| Ralf Teich | Germany | The United States try to enforce the Human Rights everywhere in the world. And as long as they point that out, nobody cares about taking a closer look at the U.S. itself. But what about Marc´s Human Rights??? It is true: If there would´ve been a white man in this situation instead of Marc - all that would´ve never happened. Isn´t Lady Justice supposed to be blind? Keep you head up, Marc! We do NOT give up! |
| Michelle Ayotte | United States | Just look at how Mr. Ecoffey manipulated the Anna Mae Pictou-Aquash case now look what he is doing to Mr. Wisecarver. This man has to be stopped. God bless Marc and his family and I hope you will find peace soon. |
| Tamera | United States | |
| Natalie Armitage | Canada | Never keep silent on this Learn about the 'Strawman' identity |
| Ester Jansen | Netherlands | The system keeps suprising me how injustice it all is.I hope that Marc will get a fair treatment and his story reminds me of a story I heard years ao here in The Netherlands. An old men of 80 years defended him self against intruders. The intruder was hurt and the old men was send to prison,at the same time there wasn't enough cells so they send a rapist home. I will never understand injustice against people who defend themselves. I will never understand that judges send people to jail because of that. It is their job to keep their citizen safe,it gies a wrong signal when you arent allow to defend yourself. I have two children and when someone comes into my home,it is at their own risk,I am not going to sit around. It is my right to defend myself and my loved ones. |
| Brenda | United Kingdom | Hang in there Marc. There are many people behind you and justice will be served one day!!! |
| Kathleen Marshall | United Kingdom | |
Dieter |
| sIMON | United Kingdom | |
| Jacquie | United Kingdom | |
| Sue Rees | United Kingdom | May he find justice. |
| Julie Solarski | United States | |
| Michael O'Rourke | United States | It's troubling that Marc has been retried on the same charge, and found guilty of depredation of government property again. I can't get my mind around how this is isn't double jeopardy. Mitakuye Oyasin |
| Stephen and Ann Davis | United States | It is such an extraordinaryly sad thing, to sign a second petition in this case which should never have been brought. My remarks in the 1st petition stand confirmed. I recently read an article describing the sentence of a Wyoming man who participated in a gang rape of a 15 year old girl with 2 of his buddies. He was given 3 years PROBATION, wiht 1000 hours of community service and the promise that if he kept to the straight and narrow his record would be expunged. One can speculate, with a fair degree of certainty, that this man belonged to the society of "good ol boys" and that the Judge found him guilty only of letting a little bit of fun get out of hand. I suspect that part of the underlying sentiment had the girl "asking for it". This is what passes for justice. |
